Teen Scene

Gaming systems now available for use in the Teen Scene area!

Are you bored after school? Looking to compete a little with your friends? Video game consoles — a Wii and an XBox 360 — and games are now available for use in the Library's Teen Scene. We just have a few things we'd like to make sure you know before you play:

Teen Scene Gaming Systems Rules

Use of gaming systems is limited to youth and teens in grade 6 through 12.

Game play is limited to 30 minutes. If no one is waiting, play may continue.

Controllers, accessories, and games will be checked out and returned through the Youth Services Desk.

Gamers may only check out controllers, accessories, and games on their own card. Additional gamers must check out their own equipment.

No outside games, controllers, or accessories are allowed.

Gamers using the Wii must use the wrist strap.

Gamers are expected to treat other patrons using the library with respect. Keep noise level as low as possible. Vulgar or foul language or actions will result in suspension of gaming privileges.

Gamers are asked to treat controllers and accessories gently.

Game use will stop 15 minutes before library closes.
