Read to Your Little Ones - Early Literacy (Birth - 3 yrs)

"Read to Your Little Ones" is for children birth through three, with a focus on early literacy.  Each child registered will receive a stuffed owl and a log with early literacy activities for parent and child to complete together.  If you register online you will need to come to the library to pick up your Early Literacy Activity Log.

Fizz Boom Read -  Read (Kids) - Preschool through 5th Grade

"Fizz Boom Read" is for Kids Preschool through 5th Grade. Readers and pre-readers are required to read (or to be read to) 12 hours to complete the program.  If you register online you will need to come to the library to pick up your log.

Spark a Reaction (Teens) - 6th through 12th Grade

"Spark a Reaction" is for Teens 6th through 12th Grade. Readers are required to read 12 hours to complete the program.  If you register online you will need to come to the library to pick up your log.

Literary Elements (Adult)

"Literary Elements" is for Adults. Readers are required to read (or listen to)  4 books to complete the program.  Reading logs are available at the library or you can download a log below.

Bonus Program – Read Kansas Read

Kansas Governor Sam Brownback and the Kansas State Department of Education have partnered to launch Read Kansas Read, a summer reading program aimed at encouraging Kansas children to read over the summer.  You can turn in your completed log(s) here at the Library. 

Read Kansas Read Important Dates:
Record Minutes: June 1 - August 4
Reading Logs Must Be Received by August 11
