Derby Public Library Meeting Spaces:

All meeting rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Unless otherwise noted, advance reservations are required for use of the rooms.  Premium Services are available in some rooms at an additional cost.  Room reservations can be made by contacting Debbie or Justin at the Derby Public Library at 316-788-0760 during business hours Monday - Friday.  Policies for the Meeting Rooms will be coming soon.

When making your reservation, remember that you are responsible for setting up the room and returning the room back to its original layout.  Please include the time needed for this when making your reservation.  Payment is required before a request is accepted.  We require payment within 5 days of the initial reservation. Notify us immediately of any cancellations.  We accept checks, money orders and Visa or Mastercard.

 

Community Room:

  • $50 per hour for business and social events, including for-profit businesses or individuals and private, social functions.  Cost includes light refreshments only
  • $10 per hour for non-profits, including civic clubs, community organizations, churches, and not-for profit organizations.  Cost includes light refreshments only
  • $35 flat fee for use of the projection equipment, DVD Player and sound system
  • $50 additional charge for boxed, catered, carry-out/delivery, or covered dish meals
  • No red, purple, or orange drinks allowed
  • Seats 180 auditorium style
  • Seats 105 w/ tables
  • Tables provided are 5' x 2' rectangular-shaped
  • Available during and after library operating hours

Frank Fanning Conference Room:

  • $25 per hour for business or private meetings, including for-profit businesses or individuals.  Cost includes light refreshments only
  • $10 per hour for non-profits, including civic clubs, community organizations, churches, and not-for profit organizations.  Cost includes light refreshments only
  • $25 flat fee fo use of the projection equipment and DVD player
  • $15.00 additional charge will be assessed for events serving a boxed meal
  • No catered, carry-out/delivery, or covered dish meals may be served in the Frank Fanning Conference Room
  • No red, purple, or orange drinks allowed
  • Seats 30
  • Tables provided are 6' x 2' rectangular-shaped
  • No social events are allowed in this room
  • Available during library operating hours only

Group Study/Conference Room:

  • No charge for study groups or tutoring sessions
  • $15 per hour for business or private meetings, including for-profit businesses or individuals.  Cost includes light refreshments only
  • $5 per hour for non-profits, including civic clubs, community organizations, churches, and not-for profit organizations.  Cost includes light refreshments only
  • $15.00 additional charge will be assessed for events serving a boxed meal
  • No catered, carry-out/delivery, or covered dish meals may be served in the Group Study/Conference Room
  • No red, purple, or orange drinks allowed
  • Seats 16
  • Tables provided are 42" square
  • Available during library operating hours only

Small Study Rooms:

  • 2 rooms; seats 2 each
  • No charge for study groups or tutoring sessions
  • $5 per hour for business or private meetings, including for-profit businesses or individuals
  • $5 per hour for non-profits, including civic clubs, community organizations, churches, and not-for profit organizations
  • Available during library operating hours only

Computer Lab:

  • 17 computers
  • $400 flat fee
  • $25 flat fee for use of the projection equipment
  • No meals allowed
  • Available Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm only
