Derby Public Library Meeting Spaces:

All meeting rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Unless otherwise noted, advance reservations are required for use of the rooms.  Room reservations can be made by contacting Debbie or Justin at the Derby Public Library at 316-788-0760 during business hours Monday - Friday.  Click here for Meeting Room Policies.

When making your reservation, remember that you are responsible for setting up the room and returning the room back to its original layout.  Please include the time needed for this when making your reservation.  Users of library-owned equipment are expected to meet with Library staff for instructional use of the equipment prior to the day the equipment has been reserved.  Payment is required before a request is accepted.  We require payment within 5 days of the initial reservation. Notify us immediately of any cancellations.  We accept checks, money orders and Visa or Mastercard.

 

Community Room:

  • $50 per hour for business and social events, including for-profit businesses or individuals and private, social functions.
  • $10 per hour for non-profits, including civic clubs, community organizations, churches, and not-for profit organizations.
  • $50 additional charge will be assessed for events serving a hot, catered, or covered dish meal.
  • Room Dimensions are roughly 41' x 47' with a stage that is 8.5' deep and 24' wide.
  • Seats 180 auditorium style
  • 35 tables provided are 5' x 2' rectangular-shaped
  • 14 round tables provided are 60" in diameter
  • Available during and after library operating hours

Frank Fanning Conference Room:

  • $15 per hour for business or private meetings, including for-profit businesses or individuals.
  • No charge for non-profits, including civic clubs, community organizations, churches, and other community groups.
  • $10.00 additional charge will be assessed for events serving a hot, catered, or covered dish meal
  • Room Dimensions are roughly 23' x 29'
  • Seats 30
  • Tables provided are 6' x 2' rectangular-shaped
  • Available during library operating hours only

Group Study/Conference Room:

  • No charge for study groups or tutoring sessions
  • $10 per hour for business or private meetings, including for-profit businesses or individuals.
  • No charge for non-profits, including civic clubs, community organizations, churches, and other community groups.
  • No catered, carry-out/delivery, or covered dish meals may be served in the Group Study/Conference Room
  • Seats 16
  • Tables provided are 42" square
  • Available during library operating hours only

Small Study Rooms:

  • 2 rooms; seats 2 each
  • No charge for use
  • Available during library operating hours only

Computer Lab:

  • 17 computers
  • $50 per hour for all groups.
  • No meals allowed
  • Available Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm only
